I listened to the Big Finish audio Scherzo today. It worked a lot better than I was expecting it to. Quite a good little audio there. Paul and India are quite superb together.

The subdomain I set up on my site on Saturday night is still not working properly. As with when I set up the NZDWFC subdomain, the A record is missing from the secondary name server, meaning that half the time the subdomain will not resolve. I exchanged emails yesterday with a guy in tech support, eventually he realised that the problem *was* at their end, and passed me on to a supervisor, at which point the process began again. Have had no emails from tech support at all today.

It's annoying, because apart from this one issue, this web host is really good.

Its weird, as i've never had a problem with subdomains, therefore i guess its with the server you're on....
Hope they get it resolved soon. :/

That's the thing about webhosts, I've noticed. Some folks will have no problems with one, suggest it to friends, and then it doesn't seem to "like" this new person, for whatever reason. I think that's why I went with a webhost that no one suggested to me, but rather that I found on my own. (The thing that sold me was the online tech support chat feature. I talked to a tech person via chat before I even signed up with the service. And considering my then current webhost NEVER returned tech support e-mails, this was already far, far superior to what I then had.)

Elsa had suggested her webhost to Judi when Judi finally gave up with Sharp (the same folks I'd been dealing with and am now glad to be rid of), but then Judi's transition to the new place ended up being nowhere near as smooth as Elsa's transition. Go figure.

Apart from this one issue they've been quite splendid. I'm hoping this time to get it sorted once and for all anyway. :)

Paul and India are quite superb together.

I just don't get that dynamic... I think I'm just going to have to face the fact that I'm in the minority and I don't see what's so great about Paul & India together. I was hoping maybe Scherzo would work for me, but even with Shearman's top notch writing skills, it doesn't.

Ah well, there's always the Hex/Doc7 dynamic to look forward to. :-) (I thought Doc7/Antimony worked well together, so I'm glad he's getting another male assistant.)

Yeah, the new dynamic should be interesting. I notice that Big Finish are introducing two new male characters in a fairly short space of time - C'Rizz in the 8 Doctor audios, and Hex in the 7 Doctor ones.

But since the new companions have all been female so far, I guess it's only fair. :)
