What a startling amount of bollocks.

Not that I expected anything less, but we already had the whole reunion farewell bit with all the companions at the end of season 4. Doing it again not four stories later? Eeesh. Longest regeneration ever.

Was sad to see Tennant go. Was not sad to see Davies go. Bring on season 5!

I just hope the Moff can live up to our expectations! I mean, thus far he's only had to write one or two scripts a season, and I worry he's going to feel obligated to carry on some of the precedents that Davies has set down. If we're going to have Matt Smith yelling "GERONIMO!" every episode, it'll get old fast...

I kinda wonder what the Native Americans are going to think. Do they get annoyed when the name of one of their most prominent historical figures is used in that way?

Agreed.

I was really surprised (shouldn't have been) at how Irritating it was. Even though we finally got the 'Reason Gallifrey went Foom in the 1st place' explanation out of it.

It was a startling load of bollocks.

It was nice to see some expansion on the Time War and the Master's drums, but...

1) What happened to Lord President Romana? That would've been much better than bringing old Rassilon back from his tomb. If Romana had had an actual plan to save Gallifrey properly at the cost of everyone else, then having the Doctor forced to oppose his friend might've had some dramatic tension.

2) If Gallifrey is that much bigger than Earth, it must be hollow or something. Then again, if I'm going to complain about physics, there's the matter of the gaping big hole in the spaceship when they're traveling faster than sound.

3) Can't the Doctor push the radiation out of his feet or something equally as ridiculous? The whole chamber thing was such a cheap death. For that matter, falling through the skylight was pretty stupid.

4) Agreed about the reunion thing (including the Mos Eisley cantina with all of Ten's encountered species). Longest regeneration ever.

Also, is it just me or was there a really big hint that Donna is somehow going to end up as a Time Lady on Gallifrey? The one who visits Wilf and uncovers her eyes when she's all weeping angel?

Oh yes, the putting the radiation in his shoe bit from "Smith and Jones". I had forgotten about that. *facepalm*

If Gallifrey really was that close to Earth, both planets would have been torn apart by the gravitational stresses, but that's TV physics for ya!

It seemed very Pertweeish but in that Rusty style he has, make the audience cry or get all emo on him.
It's what i expected.
Like you say, it's better if you're drunk :)
