This occurred to me today:

In Eleventh Hour, Amy says "I don't have a mum and dad, just an aunt." I just figured at the time that she meant that they'd died, but in Flesh and Stone, it's established that the cracks eat people and erase them from history. Did the crack in Amy's room eat her mum and dad, but somehow she was spared?

Also, the Doctor eating fish fingers and custard still looks gross.

Ooh that's an excellent point.

I haven't seen anyone else come up with the same idea I have about what's going on.

I doubt it. The crack in the wall was in the house in England. She was there to be with her aunt because she didn't have a mum and dad who (presumably) met their end in Scotland.

The crack may be following her around though. :)

True, but my impression from the whole date thing was that it doesn't start erasing people until considerably later, and if it had been following her around you'd think she might have mentioned that in her prayer to Santa. :)

I've been wondering about that aunt. It's a stretch, but I keep wondering if her aunt is Donna? (of course, there's no evidence that Donna had a brother or sister)

Okay, never mind, it's lame.

I love that the new series is encouraging vast numbers of theories. You never know which ones will turn out to be right :)
