Hey, no fair

One of the advantages of having a distinctive name like Alden is that I don't very often meet someone with the same name. In fact, I can count the number of occasions on no hands. Of course, being on the internet increases the likelihood that I'll run into someone (in an online sense) with the same name as me.

And then today I discovered aldenmacrae. Not only an Alden, but a female Alden.

No one told me when I started this 'being human' gig that the name I was getting could be used as a girl's name. I'm annoyed.
