I downloaded and installed an updated version of the software for my digital camera last night. I initially thought this had solved the initial problems I was having with it, but apparently this is not the case.

What happens is when I try to start something like Internet Explorer, it inexplicably starts up and promptly stops responding. The cure is to ctrl-alt-del, and kill "Easyshare" in the task list.

Anyway, grrr.

On the more amusing front, I got an email from my old webhost. I won't go into the many and varied troubles I had with them, but basically the email is a "we've really improved and we want you to come back." jobbie, telling me I can view their 10-minute movie "Our Data Center Rocks".

I shall now laugh hysterically.

Of course, I'm still getting shitty connections from Paradise (at least it's 31200bps today instead of 28800bps...) so any attempt to stream movies would consist of the usual 1-second-video-10-seconds-buffering that I usually get anyway...

Music snaggage

Today I bought the new version of Bjork's Volumen DVD, which has all of her music videos on. I already had the previous version but:

A) the new version had seven more videos on it
b) with a $30 music voucher, I was only paying $5 for it anyway.

So there. Nyah.
