OK, so, last week we had to switch Teaspoon to a different server. This included changing the name servers on the domain using GoDaddy, which I did three days ago now. Easy, right? Except apparently something's wrong because occasionally you'll try to load http://www.whofic.com/ and get the old IP address instead of the new one - for some reason your PC will think it should be using the old name servers instead of the new ones.

According to DNS Stuff, all the root servers have the correct name servers stored for whofic (They should now be ns1.whofic.com and ns2.whofic.com). Observe:
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/traversal.ch?domain=whofic.com&type=A

So why is it sometimes the old name servers are coming up when people try to load the site? It's not even doing it constantly - it's been flip-flopping back and forth...

*tears hair out*

GoDaddy is run by degenerate Republican monkeys. I recommend moving your domain registration to NameCheap.com. $8.88 per year per domain, and their service is 100% more reliable.

(I had a 2-week domain registration experience with GoDaddy about two years ago, and I got out of there FAST.)
