Tribunal: The Cardassians arrest O'Brien and put him on trial.

O'Brien's off on vacation for a week. Funny how they use Americanisms like "vacation" even though O'Brien's Irish, and Kira and Dax are both aliens. Sisko has to virtually kick O'Brien off the station. He runs into an old friend on the way off the station, who menacingly RECORDS A SAMPLE OF HIS VOICE! Oh noes!

So, Miles and Keiko set off on their vacation. She's a bit annoyed because he bought porntechnical update manuals. Then some Cardassians turn up and arrest O'Brien. This will be great in their album of holiday snaps! The Cardassians start out by stripping his clothes off and interrogate him gently for a while. Gently for them.

Keiko gets back to the station, where Sisko gets a call from Makbar on Cardassia Prime. She says that the charges won't be revealed until the start of the trial though. Odo volunteers to be O'Brien's advisor. Also, O'Brien's execution has already been scheduled.

On Cardassia, O'Brien meets his lawyer, who seems to be more interested in getting a confession and/or putting on a show. Also, his cell looks into the room with the electric chair in. Cardassian justice is graaaaaaand.

Kira finds that there's a bunch of warheads missing off the station, and the computer recorded his voice print in the room. This leads into a heated debate over whether O'Brien was in on this.

Odo visits O'Brien and asks him about the missing warheads, but he has no idea what Odo's talking about. When he becomes agitated, Odo gives him a pep talk.

Dax establishes that O'Brien's voice was faked, and Kira tracks down O'Brien's old pal, who's they suspect is a Maquis.

O'Brien's trial starts. Odo tries to present his new evidence, but O'Brien's lawyer refuses to play along and the new evidence is thrown out.

Sisko and Kira talk to O'Brien's friend, who denies all knowledge. Then Bashir is visited by a Maquis, who says that they had nothing to do with the theft, and O'Brien's pal isn't a Maquis.

The trial continues. It's not looking good for O'Brien. His lawyer suggests to Odo that he advise O'Brien to confess. Worst lawyer ever. Then Sisko turns up with O'Brien's old friend, and the court lets O'Brien go. The old friend, you see, is a surgically-altered Cardassian.

On the way back, they discuss that it was all along about discrediting the Federation, and then Sisko sends Miles and Keiko off on their vacation.

Yeah, Prime plays an episode of Enterprise, two of Voyager, and then a DS9 every Sunday. :)
